The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

  1. Flattened the wheel until collections is updated. Created a blank collection call Exit to make it easier to back out.
  2. pausing some projects until the HT is updated.
  3. for a collection, I'm able to add a theme or change a theme.. I'm not able to remove a theme.
  4. Went back to edit a theme. specifically https://beta.hypertheme.io/media/ec8cfc-Sega-Collection-wide This is related to one of the layers not loading. So I went down to the layer and tried to delete it. It asked me are you sure yes or cancel. I hit yes, you can see that it removed in the background, but the "are you sure yes or cancel" pops up again. I hit cancel and it got fun after that. The yellow layer squares seem to move to another layer and you visabily still see the layer I tried to delete on the list.
  5. You'd have to delete every HS/HQ file in the system and hidden. An uninstaller is coming soon.
  6. what fun.. after restarting and updating.. HQ looks fine.. HS won't move forward or back.. and layers in the art aren't working.. gonna see if I can redownload the themese.
  7. So after starting from scratch a bunch o f times, I have 5 profiles loaded on the site. I attempted to delete the ones that are gone, and they popped right back up.
  8. We have box view and clear logo view. I was hoping for a Banner view.. maybe a hybrid of box and list where the box would be toward the left and the metadata to the right.. or simply just all the marquees. Many possibilities there.
  9. Yes for now.. I have requested in the Developlment tracker and mass deletion option. Side note, even if you delete the rom file (or rename it) it'll still show here. If you rename it, it may add another instance. You still have to manually delete the old file. For MAME (should be turned off) don't update it. It could add the remaining roms to it. They're working on that now.
  10. Just a simple drop down to choose a different core for the system. I know it can be done manually, but an easy drop choice may make the experience easier.
  11. New notes: You can run a second instance of the same emulator, but you'd have to run it as an other. You can change the core, by altering the command line -L "%emulator.folder%\cores\genesis_plus_gx_libretro.dll" "%rom.path%" -f Future request
  12. So started from scratch slowly adding each system and wheel. so far so good.. no multiples. *mental note.. patience
  13. there was a file called hyperspin.. I deleted that file within those folders, but left the rest intact
  14. After being impatient on setting up the system fresh. I installed 3 to 4 systems at once while creating Collections while the media, metadata were all updating. When I went to the wheel manager, it created multiple instances of the same system .
  15. DOH!!! So being impatient, I was installing the systems and creating the collection while the metadata and media were downloading all at the same time. It caused a massive glitch on duplicating wheels. I'm not 100% sure that's what did it, but I'm going to start fresh and be patient to see if that issue can be duplicated
