your welcome to add some more detail to the post. Maybe set the log to verbose and attach the zip export. The devs may be able to spot the bugs

Have you tried the cache clearing options in the HQ settings?

Also roms refresh in the system settings?

Delete and add the system again. 
 

double check your Rom extension is in the list when adding the system 

Give the latest build a try and reconfigure the controls in HyperHQ.

been a bunch of updates on input for this release. See if the problem persists

I wonder how long that would take to load ?

Out of interest how many of those 600+ are unique systems and how many are collections?

UPDATE:- Updated my beta version to .54 and hit reinstall on the plugin and HS extracted/installed ok

When the new build is out you should def start fresh without the overrides for just a couple of systems before adding in overrides 1 at a time to see what or if your speeds get killed again.

i tested last night and had much quicker performance but I don’t have collections of your size.

I just done some testing with Frosty and he has fixed an installer issue to rectify it on my system. I expect this will get into the next update

the way around it is to let the update download and manual grab the exe file from the

hyperHQ-updater folder in Users/AppData. Then manually run it in your custom location. Or grab the download exe from the forum and run it manually as above

FYI this is still happening in version .51

I tested my pad and Dpad will not control the HS wheel. HQ only recognizes Dpad Up/Down/Left when configuring but Right will not assign.

When I have my second controller plugged in both can control HS but only one is detected in HyperHQ

I had the same issue today, I did delete all my clients but 3 came back instead of the 1 I was expecting. The original PC name one and 2 of my custom HQ name.

I will test again tomorrow to confirm it's working as above

I had a similar issue with Wii. Auto import is off but was getting multiple entries for each game. 
 

the only thing I was doing while HQ was running in the background was transferring game zips to my roms folder and uncompressing them to .rzv format the deleting the zips.

i got up to 140 entries. I deleted the Wii system added again and the scan brought the correct 21 games back through

I just went from .36 to .39 with the auto updater and everything installed to my correct custom path on my X drive

Its probably not reverting. You are opening the HQ version .31 icon as the update installer for the old versions installs to Program Files on the C drive

Check  C drive ProgramFiles also hidden Users AppData folder and there’s another one ProgramData Not at a PC to confirm proper paths.

When you install from the install wizard the 1st time you install

the default address is c:/Program Files which I then click the browse button to locate my custom folder.

i assume it’s not saving that custom address and reading it when the auto updater/installer runs

There is a way in HyperHQ -> Emulators -> Supported Systems

It already feels better in .35 btw so not sure if something changed
