1. cant seem to get theme and wheels etc?? says they are there but they dont show in hyperspin?

   as above, the stuff keeps saying its downloaded and applied but its not?

2. Mame Merge Roms not working

   Hi There, I am hoping I am posting in the right area. I have approx 30,500+ mame roms. Originally when I did the first import and selected to merge the roms, it only showed that I had about 4600 roms. I knew that was not the case. After I turned on Auto Update Roms and restarted Hyperspin, it took a bit of time but then it showed me that I had 70000+ roms. When I reviewed my list it showed that a lot of games had 2, 3 or even 4 of the same roms. I exited out of Hyperspin CL and went to load it again and it did not work. I am running this on a Windows 11 Pro OS by the way. I went into Task Manager and saw that the processes where stuck so I ended the processes an…

3. MAME Menu and game launching not functional

   I finally got Hyperspin to launch but I cannot get the games to launch. When I select them in the wheel, I only get an exit option. When I try launching the Mame menu to look at the controls, nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? thank you

5. Suggestion & Questions - How to set the Logo Wheel vertical/horizontal? And perhaps Add Backplates?

   Hey All, Happy to be supporting the development of HS2. quick question though. In HS1 it was possible to set the wheel direction and position of the wheel, This would be set in HyperHQ back in the day. but can't find the setting now. Also perhaps as a suggestion. Some wheels use a backplate behind the logos. Perhaps it's possible to to create a single wheel background and set that to be always placed behind the Logos everytime Kind Regards Ben

6. Big problems with Cache, Overrides, Themes, etc.

   From what I can see... there are large problems with the Cache as well as other things. (It actually worked better in previous iterations... I think) THings seem to work in HyperHQ... but when transfering over to hyperspin. Nothing is being transferred over the way it should.. 1. Full screen videos arent working for anything 2. Wheels sometimes work... 3. The video in mame sometimes doesnt match the border. Not all the time though. 4. The boxart is getting stuck behind the wheels... not all the time though. 5. Ive only added 3 systems. Your version of mame, which seems to have better overrides but still not 100 perccent. My version of mame for testing t…

8. Steam ID

   Trying to set up the new version of Hyperspin on my laptop. One of the things I wanted to do was get Steam set up. I'm running into an issue here and I'm not sure how to get past it. I'm going through the wizard and got to the part where it says it wants to access my library. It's saying it wants my Steam ID. I've tried everything here. Tried my username, the 17 digit code, a link up top.... Went to the edit profile page as per the instructions and copied: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/ with all of my numbers in it. 9. Multiple HQ install and removal create multiple HQ clients

   I did multiple install and uninstalls of HQ because of some bugs I could not clear deleted the folder C:\Users\User\.HyperHQ but I still have multiple HQ clients installed, is their a way to remove the extra ones

11. Override media does not work correctly + snail paced Hyperspin loading times

    On the latest version v2.0.39 none of the media is showing in Hyperspin Previously the videos showed but they don't work either. Also when loading system and rom assets, it's taking 5-10 minutes to load up Hyperspin (every single time, not just once) and I only have 1 system in my setup !! So to conclude .... NONE of the override media show up in Hyperspin and this is after I started again for the 15th time from scratch, removing EVERY trace of HyperHQ and Hyperspin from my computer. Currently Hyperspin is totally unusable with override media. What am I missing, or is this a known bug ? Thanks

16. Display Only US Version of MAME Games in the Wheel

    As you know, a lot of the early games had Japan, US and World versions, and the US version relied on the parent version to run. If I only want the US version to show in the wheel, can I just do what I did in HP1 and create a new folder for the Wheel ROMS to be in, point HyperSpin to that folder, and remove the parent versions? Or is there a way to select what games versions you want to be on the wheel in HyperHQ? I placed empty rom files (takes only 1k of disk space that way) in the following directory and pointed HQ1 to that folder as you can see in the image included. C:\HyperSpin\Media\MAME\Wheel ROMS

19. Exit keys reverts to keyboard

    Mapping the xbox controller. When I back out to exit. The "Exit" question pops up. At this point, it won't accept my commands from the controller. I have to go back to the keyboard and select enter there.

20. Initial thoughts and issues

    In my haste to get this program going I accidentally nuked my own setup. Not a big deal because I have other setups now. So I quickly setup NES and I was very surprised at how quickly the games ran, and just started working after point to the folders. It was a far cry from the old days. I liked that very much! Honestly great work team! Couple of issues I'm having on this Windows 10 system: - The new HyperHQ seems to but opening multiple instances in the task manager. And does not close properly unless I go in and "End Task" them. - The startup time on Hyperspin loading roms and assests is slow. No biggie for NES but I'm curious how long …

21. No media showing in Hyperspin v2.0.36

    I did another clean install v2.0.36 (removed all appdata etc) and am using the overrides folder for all the media. Now the main menu wheels and game wheels in Hyperspin are not showing , yet all the override videos all work ok. All the shows up fine in HyperHQ (see below) is this a known issue as I have literally tried everything ?

22. Grainy looking Themes in Hyperspin

    Since the last update to .35 all the themes are suddenly looking grainy when previously they were not (see below) It looks like there is a fine shader covering the screen for every system.

23. Multiple hyperspin and HQ processes spawned.

    I am seeing multiple hyperspin and HQ processes in task manager. It seems to happen when launching a game in hyperHQ by hitting enter. Not sure about selecting play instead.

24. Crashing keys....

    Found another bug. Wanted to exit hyperspin, pressed Escape. Then changed my mind and cancelled by pressing Escape again. And that's it. I returned to hyperspin, but nothing works, buttons don't work, Escape doesn't work, you just have to close the process....
