American Laser Game

I tried to follow the guide but I have some problem.

I want to configure without bat files.

 

I have this structure:

 

Daphne Singe\AMFrameFile media for ActionMax

Daphne Singe\singe\singe rom singe example \crimepatrol with roms and a subfolder with the cdrom

Daphne Singe\singe\ActionMax rom for ActionMax

 

With RocketLauncher I set the DaphneSinge emulator and the rom path. The rom extension are cfg|singe

 

The game audit find the game and when I try to launch the game it start and after a while nothing happen.

Did you resolve this issue?

 

Looks like the extensions you are using are .cfg and .singe??  If they are Daphne Singe games, you should only have singe as your extension.

Also, in your module settings, turn off SingePathUpdate and ForcePathUpdate.

Test and let me know.

Yes, you can easliy add it.  I put mine in my Daphne wheel since it doesn't use a light gun.  Only the light gun games are in my ALG wheel.

Open up your .../HyperSpin/Databases/American Laser Games/American Laser Games.xml file.

Somewhere in there, between a game close and game open tag:

Paste this text in there:

		<description>Time Traveler</description>
		<cloneof></cloneof>

Right.  Uses mirrors to produce the 3D effect.

When ripping the game from the DVD you can choose 2D or 3D anagliphic.  ;)

Now American Laser Game works good, thanks again.

 

The WoW Action Max is not working...

It start, it ask me (the first time) to parse the file, it parse the file, after green screen and the program stop working.

Anyway one of the 3 new games is Ninja Hayate.When I try to run this game there is an error Bad Command Line.

 

Now I'm very confused.

But Ninja Hayate is Daphne or Daphne Singe??

I had answered that in your other thread too

For the XML he was saying that those three games are run using the Daphne-Singe emulator, but it makes more sense to have them in the normal Daphne Hyperspin wheel & database with the other laserdisc games. Don't worry about that yet. First read the tutorials, get it working right, figure that part out later once you understand it a bit better.

Since they are Laserdisc it makes sense for them to be in the Daphne wheel with all the other Laserdisc games. So that's why they are in the Daphne database.

Not sure about the green screen.

I have my ALG wheel with only gun games.  ;)

I know it doesn't fit so well.  Some of the games that do not use a gun are still made by American Laser Games.  That said, the Ninja Hayate and Time Gal are not ALG games, even though they are laser disk games.  I think they are better suited into the Daphne wheel.  Along with Time Traveler.  ;)

I really need to change my wheel name for ALG anyway.  Maybe "Laser Disk Gun Games"...  lol  :)

My Daphne I already changed to LaserDisk.  I don't like the fact that Daphne and MAME are named based on the emulator name.  ;)

Hard to help without any logs, my friend.  ;)

You might make sure you have SingePathUpdate and ForcePathUpdate set to false in your Module settings for this system as well.

If that doesn't fix it, post your .../Daphne-Singe/Daphne_log.txt file so we can see what's going on. ;)

Hi Ron I'm hoping you can help me,

 

I am trying to fix my Aimtraks in Daphne Singe. They work but are hyper movement sensitive and move WAY to fast. I was told to put the emu in full window from screened. Here is my script....

Is that not full windowed already? Any ideas?
