skatebored0m Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 I'm trying to get Hyperspin to launch right after Windows 7 boots, so I threw the Hyperspin.exe file into my startup folder. It launches like it's supposed to, but I can't control anything with the keyboard. I can move the wheel around with the mouse, but I can't click on anything or exit with the Esc key. If I Ctrl+Shift+Esc out of Hyperspin and go back in it works fine, but that defeats the purpose. What's going on here? Thanks.
Silverback Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Hi Sounds like something else is taking the focus away from HyperSpin on boot. You could try and run msconfig and disable all startup items you don't need. this may help with giving HyperSpin priority.
Metalzoic Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 I launch Hyperspin from the startup folder and also launch Steam when windows starts up. Right after Hyperspin plays its intro video it slows down a bit while Steam loads in the background and most often Hyperspin loses focus and freezes (even though it is still on the screen). Like Silverback said, maybe yours is losing focus to another program in the task tray like me. To get it working again I just hit the screen minimize key on my keyboard and then maximize Hyperspin again. I haven't figured out a way to keep it from happening at all yet though which is a bummer.
arcadepcnut Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 It's definitely another program taking focus. Do you have teamviewer or anything else beside steam loading? I noticed I had same problem when I used team viewer Switched to ultravnc.
