Kenny Powers Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 I have been getting this error in rocketlauncher when trying to load a game using nullDc. Has anyone come across this before.
nimpa Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Are u running dreamcast? What is the file extension inside the Zip/rar archive then? Add that extension as well in your global emulator tab or whatever u have setup...
Spawk Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Have mine set as .cdi in RL. Works great. I am also not running the fastest PC so all my images are un-zipped already to save on load time.
nimpa Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Run don´s hypertools .. (Create New HyperList.exe) make yourself a new xml file for dreamcast.. guess u have the .cdi file in each game folder?
Kenny Powers Posted July 23, 2015 Author Posted July 23, 2015 I have the games loading now in rocketlauncher as unzipped gdi files. When I enable the 7z setting to true in the main settings tab under dreamcast I am still getting that original error message.
Kenny Powers Posted July 23, 2015 Author Posted July 23, 2015 The benefit of the zip format would be the smaller file size for the game. The gdi is a gig when extracted.
ChrisPlaysRetro Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 I had a similar issue mate, give this a try... Open up NullDC outside of Rocketlauncher/Hyperspin and in the options menu select "GDRom" and uncheck the "Select Default Image" option, close NullDC and then try and run as normal.
Kenny Powers Posted July 29, 2015 Author Posted July 29, 2015 The zip file I was using had the correct database name assigned to it. When I open the zip to view the files without extracting them I noticed that the gdi located in the zip was named different. I renamed the gdi and left the file zipped and that worked.
