SkyHighGam3r Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 I manually create my XML files, tedious I know but it's incredibly accurate that way.I recall there being something like... Dave's Hyperspin Tools, or Donald or something.Anyway, whatever it was had a number of usefull XML tools that I used before I decided to do things the hard way lol.
thcdgaf Posted August 30, 2015 Author Posted August 30, 2015 tryimg out rom manager i got roms they in the folder just not matching up to xml
thcdgaf Posted August 30, 2015 Author Posted August 30, 2015 rom manager worked great it was dons tools old program i used to use its not setup same way on new one
Shermo Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 yup, matched up my DS roms pretty well. Had to add around 10 i think it was out of around 2,500 time saver no doubt. Least this way you know the art and videos will match up np
what2be Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Easiest ive found is using dons tools, mostly filter hyperlist.exe which has saved me hundreds of hours, (if you have multiple wheels for mame in hyperspin its a must have) but I also use rename roms.exe and and merge hyperlists.exe. Another great util for artwork and rom management is HyperSpin XML Bidouilleur which has replaced what I previously used (hyperdetective)
damageinc86 Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 yeah i have used the hyperrommanager thing with great success for matching wheel art to my databases. As long as you take the time to go down the list page by page and fix the ones where it couldn't find the match, it really saves time.
