Wheel by Type?

I was wondering if there is a way to classify your main wheel by type of system instead of having all systems on the main wheel.

IE..  arcade systems, console, handheld, computer, pinball, etc?

so basically you when you launch hyperspin instead of having all your systems on the main wheel you would have the above and then you can go into one type and get all the sub wheels for that system?

i haven't seen any inf on this but maybe i missed it,.

thanks

I had wondered the same thing before figuring out you can only have one sub-wheel.

Something I did, that most people don't recomend given the amount of work involved, is combined similiar systems together.

Gameboy HD = Gameboy + Color + Advance
Sega Genesis CD-32X (Self Explanitory)
TurboDuo = TurboGrafx 16 + CD

Neo Geo Pocket Color has a few of the NGP games in it now.

Neo Geo = Neo Geo AES + CD

NES has some famicom disk system games in it.

SNES will probably have some satteleview games if I can find any worthwhile.

It cleared a lot of space up on my wheel and helps keep things more organized. I, for one, feel like it's ridiculous to have a seperate wheel for some of these things.

Agreed, just a second sub-wheel would have been amazing. Not to mention have saved me the time of combining XML information (in alphabetic order) and re-naming things so they didn't conflict with games that have the same title. (dont' even get me started on trying to setup multiple emu's in the same wheel...)

i.e. NBA Jam (for GEN) and NBA Jam (for 32X)

Now listed as
NBA Jam
NBA Jam - 32X

Tedium... which I may make the name of build lol

well technically the hyperspin 1.4 beta thing is the NEWEST version of hyperspin around.  Not that it actually received a substantial update, but that is still the latest.

The fullscreen/windowed by pushing F6 was a nice feature for me. Other than that I don't know of anything actually 'new'.

A while ago I remembered hearing about Hyperspin 2.0... but since I can't find a single shred of info on it.
