Sega CD not finding BIOS

Its retroarch.cfg in root where the exe is not the one in config folder.

Default = system folder in root. I renamed the cfg file for mine though and downloaded a retroarch bios pack. Just search "system" in the config and copy the whole directory to it.

You need to make sure all the bios match up also but downloading the proper pack sort that out :)

Ok thanks. I found system in the config and added the path to the bios folder.

system_directory = "Z:\Hyperspin\Emulators\Sega CD\bios"

This is the error I get now...

When I just add system_directory = "bios" this is the error I get.

With the last one create a folder bios in retroarch root put the bios files in there. With the bios then the E mean it requires the European bios by the looks so find the European bios and rename it exactly as it says there bios_CD_E.bin if its named any different it won't detect it

All mine are in the "System" folder which should be the default. That way you should not need to edit any config files.

I have a folder called bios and the correct files within.

I moved mine because a few other systems needed bios files and I like uniformity. Similar to my Microsoft Dos games, they are not roms but they are all in a folder called roms.

Edit: solved.
