HL to RL Transition - Rocketlauncher.exe missing

Hi,  I'm finally transitioning Hyperlaunch to Rocketlauncher. I had no problems with the transition on my first computer (test computer).

 

 

On my cab computer, after running the RL-Transition tool, the hyperlaunch.exe file is deleted and NOT replaced by the Rocketlauncher.exe.

Before running the transition update pack, I checked to make sure the Rocketlauncher.exe file was in the Rocketlauncher folder and it's not.

 

I have updated hyperspin from 1.3.2 to 1.4 before running the transition and I had the "cannot find launcher"  message when trying to start a game in hyperspin.

 

 

I have , in the past, used HyperMap, which was renaming the hyperlaunch to hyperlaunch2 and loading it thru Hypermap. But, now I use ultrastick 360 programmer and I renamed hyperlaunch2 to hyperlaunch back as it was.

Lucky, if your using HyperSpin 1.4 you don't really need to run the transition tool but it may change the RocketLauncher path for you.

You need to open the setting.ini file found in HyperSpin\settings folder. Change the path to HyperLaunch so the it points to RocketLauncher. It should be something like this.

C:\HyperSpin\RocketLauncher\RocketLauncher.exe

I just had a quick look at the Transition tool again and you just need to place it correctly not in the HyperLaunch or HLHQ folders. Set the path to HyperLaunch if different and select HyperSpin 1.4+ from the short list.

All it should do is rename the folders and the ini, you just then need the update pack.

I thought "Change the path to HyperLaunch so it points to RocketLauncher"  was to point at the Rocketlauncher Folder, but it's at the .exe    After running the update pack, the Rocketlauncher.exe has been generated.

New issues:

Mame after transitionning,

1- I had to change skip checks from False to Rom extension cause RL was giving me an error message saying my files extensions zip|7z were not setup (which is not true).

2- Cheats enabled but no cheat files found. --->> Cheats are not enabled and never been. I checked in the mameui options and "Cheats enabled" box is not checked.  Is there a setting in RLUI for Mame cheats?

Cheat enabled fixed:   I had to manually change cheatmode to "false" in the Rocketlauncher/modules/MAME/mame.ini  file.  

 

Still don't understand the rom extension check though.
