R0CK632
Hey Guys.. I have a brand new reformated copy of Windows 7 installed on my computer. Downloaded Retroarch and tried to load it up and it said it was missing dll files. So I upgraded and installed my Direct X. Tried to load it up again and it partially loads, I dont get the missing dll error, The White Retroarch program box shows up then i get an error.. Retroarch.exe has stopped working. I cant figure out a fix. I tried downloading the Redist file and extracted that to my Retroarch folder and still cant get the program to load up. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

SIMPLYAUSTIN
Take a look at my daemontools vid mate. Ignore daemontools, well unless you want to install it However, with the download pack I include all the stuff you need installed on your of before you start. That should have you up and running .... P s I also have a RetroArch vid too

5thWolf
Not sure what dll files your missing. The most common are the MSVCP dll. This shows you which ones you need. http://www.vgemu.com/v-g-e-forums?place=msg%2Fvgemu%2FNtN3EP_oi4M%2FKPd6IFmiBQAJ
boomerps2
Exactly what .dll are you missing? You absolutely don't want to give up on retroarch as it's the best addition to HS and not to mention the bezel support for each emulator within Retroarch is so much easier to deal with then in Rocket Launcher. Retroarch is constantly evolving. Definitely a must have.
iNTiGOD
Try running retroarch from command prompt. It may give you an error message that will give some clues. Retroarch.exe --verbose --menu
Guest
There's also a retro arch log file to check for errors. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
