Never heard of anyone taking the insane amount of time needed to save maybe 100 bucks. On a larger scale: maybe Russdx could one day have a all-in-one Pindmd/screen combo made? russdx Posted June 4, 2013 Share Posted June 4, 2013 Far to expensive to create your own one off display, the pcb alone would cost a bomb for a one off that size + all the parts and time designing it / testing and having to get a new pcb due to errors and so on hehe. Its just cheaper to buy one Creating my own display would be cool. But this is still just a hobby to me and you would need quite a bit of investment to create a display / get 100 units made.
