Guest Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Just in case anyone missed this, the latest version or joytokey now allows for the 360 guide button to be mapped. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Guest Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Oh no. This is terrible news. Why is that? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
kendawg76 Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 how to map xbox 360 buttons on joy to key to hyperspin emulators?? please help
Reefboi16 Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 You don't need to use joytokey for emulators. Just map the buttons to the 360 controller in the emulators themselves. All you use joytokey is to be able to use the controller to navigate within hyperspin. Once your emulators are launched hyperspin is out of the question.

Reefboi16 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 I am able to enter Pause. Rocketlauncher and Hyperspin are two totally different applications. RocketLauncher is what controls hyperpause not hyperspin. Hyperspin is just a front end.
Guest Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 You do all this through RocketLauncherUIYou need a key mapper to map pad controls to keys. And joytokey is one of the very few (if only) that supports mapping the 360 controller guide button to a key, using default drivers. That's the exciting bit here. I map the guide button to my RL pause key. Gives for quite a nice setup. You're right though - it's always best to setup controls in the emulator its self, however this isn't always possible. Even if it is possible, using a key mapper can allow for a default profile that is applied on all systems. Allowing for buttons to be key mapped to, pause key, exit emulator across all systems. Reefboi16 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Oh I agree I just find it easier for RL to handle it for me makes it default throughout and I like different keys on different emulators so I manually do them one at a time.
