Themes "spilling over" to neighbouring title

I´m having some problems with game themes "spilling over" or influencing the next title or game theme.

For example, when switching to the next title the video might not start, or the title name can become superimposed on

the next title name. Any ideas?

In "HyperHQ", under Wheel Settings tab>Navigation/Themes sub-tab for each system on the drop down menu, select "Reload Backgrounds". I also have "Animate Out Default Themes" checked, but I believe those activate the interstitial transitions/animations. For me the more dancing monkeys the better- well, to a point.

Anyone remember BonziBuddy?

Thanks for your answer, wesfranks. That seemed to help somewhat, but still far from perfect. PSP is a system where I have a lot of graphically intense custom themes, seems it´s worse then,

especially if there are 3-4 in a row. In the end, I think I´m going to have to deactivate some that seem to give the most problems.

I continue to have problems with this. But something that might help that seems to work sometimes, is to replace the default theme with another.

I dont really know what is happening here, but seems to work at times.

Unfortunately I remember Bonzi Buddy.

I will answer my own question:

Switching off "Special Backgrounds" under "Optimizer" in HyperHQ seems to fix this.

See the thread:

Edit: I spoke to soon. It´s more like it minimises the problem, together with "Reload Backgrounds" under wheel settings in HyperHQ. But problem still exists. :(

For the heck of it I switched off everything under "Optimizer". Now it actually seems to be working flawlessly.

When I look at it now, this seems to have been related to themes that has the video sliding in from some direction (?).

I just hope I won´t miss any of those animations from under "Optimizer". :)

Thanks, Avar, but now I suppose this should be the best answer...
