Kenny Pilgrim
Hi Guys, I've finally got round to updating to 1.4 with Rocket Launcher. Everything running fine except for my Hori RAP 3 Stick that I use for playing. It was working perfectly fine in my old version of HS/HL. I've set it up in HQ but the response time I'm now getting is very slow/delayed when selecting on the wheel. Any ideas why this is happening? Do I need to go back to the old way via xpadder and if so is it the same set up in RL as it was in HL? Thanks in advance
Kenny Pilgrim
Can anyone help please? I've tried the threshold in HQ but still very unresponsive any ideas what I'm doing wrong? When the wheel first loads up I can press down a couple of times but after that it stops responding.
Metalzoic
No idea man. If you aren't using an encoder then joysticks/pads still don't work right in HS 1.4 though. The normal fix is to make an Xpadder profile for it.
Kenny Pilgrim
Ok, so when setting up Xpadder in RL is it the same process as HL?
Metalzoic
Probably, but I don't know. I'm using an arcade CP with an iPac encoder so I've never needed to install Xpadder.
Nocturnaloner
I was having a problem with my U;trastik 360 skipping games as it moved through the wheels, so I got the free version of JoyToKey: http://joytokey.net/en/download, and mapped my joystick movements to the arrow keys. That's it. It works for Ultrastik 360s, gamepads, and analog joysticks.
albert_c
Xpadder and any keymapper is old news for controlling the HyperSpin UI. Get the latest HyperSpin Startup Script made by our own ghutch92. It allows you to control the UI without a keymapper and addresses the bug in HyperSpin. Once you launch the game, you will use the emu's keymapper to control the game. Barring the emu (or game/program) not having a keymapper, then that would the only instance you would need to use a keymapper.
