    The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

    We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

Dolphin support!

Woo hoo!!   Grab the latest nightly and then use these settings in your .ini file

exe=org.dolphinemu.dolphinemu/org.dolphinemu.dolphinemu.activities.MainActivity
parameters=AutoStartFile

Annnnnd... it appears they broke it again (build 8717).   Haven't had a chance to figure out why yet...

Build 8608 did work if you want to confirm your wheel works.

Okay, figured it out.

They changed it to:

exe=org.dolphinemu.dolphinemu/org.dolphinemu.dolphinemu.ui.main.MainActivity
parameters=AutoStartFile

Does it have a double config like Retroarch??? My Shield TV controller doesn't work when loaded through Hyperspin, but automatically works when loaded through Dolphin App :/

I haven't run into this (YET) but they nightly builds seem to be in flux so nothing would surprise me.

Did you uninstall any previous versions first???

no I first installed latest nightly and the controller doesn't work in game except menu. Then I uninstalled and tried 4.0 stable and the controller setting in menu worked but when I try to launch in hyperspin it says parameter is wrong. Thanks

I am new to this but I asked for an update b/c I just installed the latest nightly and there are no options to configure controllers, it just says Gamecub controllers but when I click on them nothing happens. I can get the Wii roms to load and load from Hyperspin but their is no controller input. I just ordered a Dolphinbar b/c the latest build has support for it now on android.

Well I just went to look to download and earlier version and saw a new version released today and comments mention the UI for controllers and Dolphinbar
https://buildbot.dolphin-emu.org/builders/release-android/builds/172

If todays release doesnt fix it then here is a fix for the button mappings I am about to try after I get the kids to bed:

Ta sonic. For anyone reading this with the same problem downgrade to an earlier build, map the buttons how you would like and copy them from the dolphin folder.
Go back to the latest build run it once then paste the files back in. Works A treat keep up the good work im available to test titles if needed.

Sorry guys, I see the issue now.   They've evolved the GUI tremendously and now it appears the button mapping isn't available.

Either grab an older build, modify the .ini file/settings directly, or wait for imminent fix.

I just wanted to update, that today's release now shows the Wiimote menus and in game the only buttons that work bring up side menu and when I select settings nothing happens.

http://dl.dolphin-emu.org/builds/dolphin-master-4.0-8886.apk

However I still do not see an option to map buttons ?

I am very new to dolphin, so if someone else can update to the latest apk and test to see what I am doing wrong

MarioKart says unalbe to write to memory ?

The controller setup isn't defined by default. You need to setup the controller button mapping before launching any games.

it won't let me it says controller settings coming soon

rez I tried the earlier build and changed the ini settings to main instead of ui.main and it has error on hyperspin for emulator

Well I downloaded the stable 1.4 set my input settings then moved the config files so I could uninstall and reinstall latest build. When I opened a game in hyperspin the game loaded and the controller worked but the game was slooooooow. Tried different cou and video setting with no luck.

Some games are still slow and frankly, recent builds of the emulator have gotten slower.   I just tested the latest nightly Dolphin build and it's working well with Hyperspin.

I loaded the same game before and after and it was perfect with new build. Just slow with the new config files pasted to it

I did eventually get the WiiMote to work using the DolphinBar on the Shield, so the kids/wife can use their Wii motes on the family hyperspin machine.

Hey Rez, nice to meet you.

Are you able to launch right into a Wii game from Hyperspin or to the select a game screen on Dolphin ?

Yes, I can launch direclty into a Wii game from Hyperspin.   If it's only loading the emulator app, you might be using the older exe/param setting.
