Frankenpora Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 What the hell is going on here? New computer, First site visited. Loading Hyperspin and Trojan Virus is detected in zip file.....
Metalzoic Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Pretty normal. It throws a false positive for many people. There are quite a few topics about it. You're fine so long as your AV didn't quarantine or delete a file you need.
Avar Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 As it says on the download page, disable anti-virus for download and then add an exception for the HyperSpin.exe file in your AV prior to reactivating.
Frankenpora Posted March 7, 2016 Author Posted March 7, 2016 So what do I do now? It says cannot find Hyperlaunch.EXE
Metalzoic Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 So what do I do now? It says cannot find Hyperlaunch.EXE Sounds like it deleted what you need so do what Avar suggested.
Avar Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Also if it's looking for HyperLaunch.exe it sounds like there were some skipped steps. You'll wanna stick with the tutorial, it'll take care of all of that for you.
BiLbOBaggins Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 OP is probably using AVG. Are you? Some of the worst AV out there. False posies left and right.
rastan Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 damn dude you're screwed.... your antivirus just found a trojan *being sarcastic* as many patches and other naughty things most of us have downloaded from less trusted sources... a trojan being found in a legit hyperspin downlaod is laughable at best.
