CatttDaddy Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 I can't get Hypertheme to save and really would appreciate some kind of support. I also cannot import PSDs into Hypertheme. I figured I would ask here and hopefully someone would help me.
Avar Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 No it doesn't grant more support but I never saw your previous posts, sorry. What does it say when you try to save?
CatttDaddy Posted March 11, 2016 Author Posted March 11, 2016 It says nothing just goes to a blank theme.
CatttDaddy Posted March 11, 2016 Author Posted March 11, 2016 When I save it gives me a happy "Complete" message. If I close out or exit the theme and go back to it, no changes are applied. Sorry not "Complete" but it says "Theme created successfully"
Avar Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Check your HyperTheme folder. Sounds like you're saving it as a new theme instead of quick-saving.
CatttDaddy Posted March 11, 2016 Author Posted March 11, 2016 I press "quick save" and I have tried pressing no to quicksave. I do have 2 themes in the "My Themes folder but when I open them, they are blank. Even if I add a BG and additional art when I open in hypertheme its blank. When I open the Zip files I do see my wheel art and art in the zip but they do not show in Hypertheme or in Hyperspin if I run it.
Avar Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Can you send me a copy please and I'll check it out.
Avar Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Ok so a few of us have pored over this and can't get "New Theme from PSD" to work so I'm starting to suspect the feature is deprecated and only works with PSDs made with older versions of photoshop. Have triple checked spelling and layers and tried rasterizing each layer but to no avail. If anyone has used this feature successfully recently, please let us now in here.
Krakerman Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 I will look into it this weekend as I use psd's when I created my themes however when creating the psd's I use Paint.net and Paint Shop Pro X8 instead of photoshop then imported them into HyperTheme. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
THK Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 I'm still on CS6. I always use the import psd feature, but have not yet tried it on a latest CC psd. * RGB / 8bit * Layers need to be named exactly: (in order from top to bottom layer, don't need to be in that order in the psd) - Artwork4 - Artwork3 - Video - Artwork2 - Artwork1 - Background * background needs to be exactly 1024x768 px (no larger image on 1024x.. canvas, otherwise it gets screwed up) * all vector layers & layer effects/layer styles rasterized or turned into a smart object * turn off or delete unused layers ..........................back with a vengeance........................
Krakerman Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 PSD's I made with Paint Shop Pro X8 and Paint.net are loading into HyperTheme ok that I've tested. These are a couple alternatives to Photoshop to use to create themes that can be imported into HyperTheme that I have tested.
bigcam Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 not sure if i can do this but to piggyback on this problem has anybody gotten the 7za.exe missing error. i see it in the hypertheme folder but i get that error everytime i try and save my theme
