stulec52 Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Hi thereJust got my Amiga setup done, and all works in Rocket Launcher okBut, when I go to Hyperspin, and try to launch, I get an error saying, cannot find, followed by a location different from the one I specified in Hyper HQ for the Amiga I'm sure this is a simple fix if you speak computer. I don't. so, any advice greatly appreciated. Many thanks

Hopefully this give you what is needed. If it helps, my ROMs are in this folder location - H:\Amiga HyperSpin\ROMs and even though I've pointed HS there on HyperHQ, when I try to launch it says cannot find @ H:\RocketLauncher\RocketLauncherUI\Databases\Commodore Amiga.xml even though I neither have that file location, or have pointed anything there. Thanks :-)
32assassin Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 the XML not found error is generated because you don't have a Hyprespin.exe path defined in RLUI Global Settings. Open rocketlauncherUI -select global system -select the General Settings Tab -Select the Rocketlauncher sub tab -Under Paths, look for "Default Frontend Path" add the path to Hyperspin.exe.
stulec52 Posted March 14, 2016 Author Posted March 14, 2016 I posted a screen shot of the part you talked about This is how it was, I have not changed anythingand to me, it looks correct already??
stulec52 Posted March 14, 2016 Author Posted March 14, 2016 ah ha. ok, yep, that got it. Thank you guys. off and running now. hey, just a quick, not really related Q, anyone know why the text in the boxes is displaying like that?? since moving to Windows 10, I haven't been able to view all the text in any program.....
Spawk Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 You could try right clicking on desktop and switching to a non "aero" theme. Or maybe you have magnification set at 125%? I don't use win10 myself, just trying to come up with some ideas to try. Sent from my SGH-I337M using Tapatalk
stulec52 Posted March 15, 2016 Author Posted March 15, 2016 I thank you for the ideas Not cracked it yet, but will keep trying as for other HyperSpin issues I'm having, Amiga games are working, but I can't seem to get my 360 controller to work (it works in some menus..) and I can't figure out where to setup even the keyboard to use that but, so far I can say, WOW, how great to be able to play my old games again
