MAME Minimizing after setting up JoyToKey

OK, So after messing with Mame and JoyToKey for like 3 days I finally got it working everywhere except 1 thing.

 

When I dont use JoyToKey, and open up MAME from HyperSpin it opens up automatically full screen and exactly how I want it to.

 

When I do use JoyToKey, and open up MAME from HyperSpin it opens up MAME(Black Screen), Then minimizes like it is THEN trying to open up JoyToKey. And i have to manually click on MAME to go back to it to play the game.

 

Any Suggestions. 

 

Basically what i think is happening is the JoyToKey is being opened after MAME and its making MAME think its secondary to JoyToKey(after the profile is switching from HyperSpin to MAME). I only use JoyToKey with MAME to close out of the emulator with holding Start and then Pressing Select on JoyPad as shown in Spawk's Tutorial. IDK how to stop MAME from Minimizing when its switching JoyToKey profiles though.

It also does the same thing to HyperSpin the first time I load it up i have to click on or alt tab to hyperspin

Taking a step back, why do you need to use Joy2key? Maybe you don't need to use it and can avoid the whole problem.

well i was having a lot of issues with using my PS4 controller with the standard JoyStick set up in HQ. Constant scrolling and wouldnt navigate properly. Plus i want to set up a close button(or combined buttons) to close out from an emulator to bring me back to the main hyperspin menu. Honestly everything i wanted it set up for is perfect right now but the only thing wrong is it seems to be minimizing or at least thinking that HyperSpin/(What ever system im opening) is 2nd priority to the JoyToKey Profile it loads.

I wish I could help you Mad. I just don't have any idea what could be causing this. The start minimized and minimize to Taskbar options completely hide jtk for me. I never see the jtk window ever and I have 28 systems set up. Each of them with their own jtk profile so lots of switching done.

Another user claimed to have a similar issue where it was an open photoshop window causing this. I often have several explorer windows and my chrome browser open and have not experienced this either.

Ya I am not sure what it would be either because starting minimized works it doesnt pull up the box or anything so it kinda baffles me right now. Ill let you know if i get it working.
