Why do ALL my downloads throttle back at the end ??

Hi,

Everytime I download anything on Hyperspin the download is fine and normal speed until the end, just past 90%, then it drops to 20-30kb or less and strugles to the end

This is whether its e.g. 500mb (gets to 497mb then grinds to a halt 10-30kb per second)  or 5mb (4.6mb then slows 1-20kb per second) and is very frustrating because it can take ages to complete even the smallest download.

 

Any thoughts ?

No idea, all I can think of is perhaps your antivirus is causing it.

all anti virus is off as well as firewall etc, but thanks anyway
