ghutch92 Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 I've had so much fun with using and setting up HyperSpin these past few years and I'm very proud of being a part of this community. I want to display how much I like HyperSpin on my chest. Is there anyone selling HyperSpin Tshirts. I'm willing to pay up to $30.00 for a shirt if it helps support this site. I know I can design my own shirt on one of those t-shirt design sites, but it's just doesn't feel right doing that. How to Install HyperSpin and more RocketLauncher HyperSpin Startup Script

manicshere Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 What is this? Is someone shamelessly making money of a brand/logo they do not have the rights for? Or is this approved by the Hyperspin team? Furthermore.. anyone could create a these t-shirts for themselves. Zero effort has been put into these. - The generic Hyperspin logo and icon, created by Billpa, converted from vector art into .png to work with this online service. It's a logo created for web, not print and especially not textile print. I've reported the post and am looking CafePress' Content Usage Policy.
Agrajag Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 I was thinking the same thing. If official t-shirts were available I think they would be clearly advertised on this website and I might have bought one already! HyperSpin behaving oddly? manicshere Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Yeah, that post definitely was missing information. The other members I spoke to knew nothing about it as well. At least I am not as concerned about the quality now, as I think Billpa knew what he was doing. I think the key-word here is "used to be a Hyperspin store". I'm having a hard time believing any revenue from that site goes towards improving this site today. Maybe such thing should be rebooted? I've discussed this a little with some other members in the past. I for one, would very much like Hyperspin and other video game related t-shirts created by this community. Much like OP wrote.
Zinger19 Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Yeah I'm not sure how the whole revenue thing works you'd have to ask billpa or badboybill . All I did was do a search at cafepress and it popped up. I think they took the link away when they first redid the site when Hyperspin 1.0 came out. At the time hyperspin was still growing and they probably weren't profiting much from it since there weren't as many members. If it's something members want then someone should probably put in a request to bring it back which probably wouldn't be much of a problem.
