bubsy54 Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 Does anyone know any good horror movie fan games? I have downloaded and played Terrordrome, it is okay, very buggy, but that is expected since it is still in development. I was wondering if there are any other games out there that are of good quality that fans have made. I am a huge horror movie fan but there are never any good licensed horror movie games (I actually really like the NES A Nightmare on Elm Street). Any suggestions out there for good horror movie games?
DrMoney Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 I think the was a pretty good Nightmare on Elm Street game for Amiga. Evil Dead on DreamCast looked pretty good too. TUTORIAL!: Xpadder and You If you're super into using genuine controllers for emulation check THIS GUY out.
Trnzaddict Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 Believe it or not Nightmare on Elm Street for NES is a pretty good platformer. Never played the Amiga version though.... I am......Machine

bubsy54 Posted August 26, 2013 Author Posted August 26, 2013 The NES game is very good, but many people don't see the good qualities in it because it can be difficult. I forgot all about the Amiga/PC version. I have the PC version running with DosBox, but never added it to HyperSpin, hopefully I don't encounter problems doing so. I wish there were more of these games out there. Licensed games have such a bad reputation, but occasionally a few squeak by.
MontyQ Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 splatter house on mame or splatter house like 1-3 or so on turbografx-16 its a great series with a Jason clone
DrMoney Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Well the hockey mask is pretty much the beginning and end of the character similarities but the games are rad ass. Definitely mesh well with the horror franchise type games. TUTORIAL!: Xpadder and You If you're super into using genuine controllers for emulation check THIS GUY out.
