Siemens contactors

Hello.

Can get the following Siemens contactors very cheap:

3RT1016-1BB42

The type number is nearly the same, as the ones, that have been used by many cab owners.

They are 24 V, which doesnt matter for me, because I have a 24V supply.

But will the sound of them be ok? And are they fast enough?

Does anybody know?

Would be really fine if somebody can tell and help me,

as they are really cheap.

Thank you,

HP

They sound ok in a cab. You can also modify them by placing metal washers where the coil pin strikes the plastic in the base of the contactor

Hi.

Yes, i found a video regarding the modification.

I think,

Only difference between 1BB42 and 1BB41 is the normally-open and normaly-closed standard, which should be no problem in the pinball cab?

One more question:

How many amps do they have?

According Siemens manual 3,3W. At 24 Volt this is only 0.13A.

Can it be? Below 1Ampere??

Does anybody know?

Thanks,

HP
