Sorn Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 Im interested in making animated theme's. I wanted to know if anyone had any tips and tricks for grabbing animations from the internet. Who what where and how. What software do you guys recommend to work with swf/flv? Basically I want to scrounge the internet for retro related flash files and extract animations out of them and then import them into themes. Im not looking to create everything from scratch.
dark13 Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Swf is a flash file where you can have animation and code, flv is a video file and it is supported only for video layer. It is possible to embedd a flv into a swf though. For video layer mp4 is recommended over flv.I use after effects for flv/mp4 but any video editing software should be ok.For swf the only software i've found capable to create .swf that works in HS is adobe flash professional. Remember to use actionscript3 while creating the document as it is the only format compatible with hyperspin. Animating in flash is not that difficult, after 2 or 3 tutorials you should be able to move png imported into flash Automatizing infopanels creation from .csv files for HTPCs themes (look at infopanel tutorial.zip on the ftp in dark13 folder) PNGs to SWFs automatized flash scripts Hyperspin Wheelset automatized template (photoshop's variables + batch) Aeon nox 4.13 W.I.P. hyperspin skin
