Ah, then you just don't have the correct combination of options set. Can't remember what it is, but I remember there's one specific combination action that works. If I remember right you have to have the correct sound (emulated or samples) selected or it crashes

Same settings in the RL module that you use to set up all the Daphne games.

thanks I'll try to figure it out. I got this already configured and never messed with rocket launcher. I just got it to convert as many systems to Android for my nvidia shield console.

Oh this is for Android? I'm not sure in that case.

I believe in the RL module settings there are places to change the different plugins etc... If I remember right I just had to go through a few combos of that to get it working.

Even at its best Badlands doesn't work great though. And I believe having it set to original sound makes it crash, switching it to samples gets you on the road to it working right...

Unless I have that backwards.

no this is for pc. I'm waiting for emulator. Badlands runs perfect thru daphneloader but skips and crashes thru hyperspin. No coin sound and it skips scenes and stutters. All my other daphne games run perfect thru hyperspin. What gives? Thanks

If you have it working fine in Daphne then just use those same settings in RocketLauncher.

You have to set your settings in RL manually, it doesn't automatically use your Daphne settings. (if I remember right)

I opened rocket launcher and don't know how to set the settings for badlands.

Looks like there aren't as many options in the module settings as I remembered, maybe some of the Daphne settings do carry over then?

My Global Parameters are

vldp -blank_searches -noissues -fastboot

here's my badlands settings. It says I'm running Badlands prototype... maybe that's what I was thinking when I was talking about the sound option?

My new advice is ask Ron in the Daphne tutorial thread. He'll probably know.

Usually, controls are setup in DaphneLoader. This populates the "dapinput.ini" file which can be interesting to edit manually. The only other information that must be obtained from DaphneLoader is the memory bank settings for each game and that can be transferred to RocketLauncher for compatibility. I have my bank settings saved in a txt file so I don't have to mess with DaphneLoader as it can do crazy things like locking your roms files from use and rewriting your game media files without warning while rejoining the torrents.

Everything else is done through command line switches.

why does my badlands run perfect in daphne loader but not thru hyperspin?

# pauseOnExit -  If true, will pause Daphne before exiting by sending "P". If your monitor is not the same resolution as daphne, Fade_Out will not display correctly. Pausing Daphne tries to prevent this.

# -noissues is for Esh's Aurunmilla. It stops daphne's warning about issues at launch.

# -fastboot is for Dragon's Lair and Space Ace, It skips the self test in the beginning.

# version - see version info below each game
