7theye
Hi all, I have looked long and far and having trouble with this. Have hyperspin working with lots of emulators but wanted to use steam for games to play through there. Since this is an aracade cabinet I don't have internet connection to it. I can download the games on another PC if needed with steam, and the copy it over. However, I don't know how to launch these games using hyperspin then. Is it possible to do this? Or am I out of luck for games like SSf4 etc Thanks
adamg
It is very possible to allow this to happen. Like you said, get the game from steam to the arcade pc in whatever way you can. Then when you set it up in HyperHQ set it as the executable. That is pretty much it.
Metalzoic
If you're using RocketLauncher you just set them up through there using the PCLauncher module. Instructions for Steam games are right in the module and there are also several threads about setting them up on here if you search. Much better than launching anything through HyperHQ. I believe you can run them offline, but I've never tried. You could also just plug in a usb-wifi receiver to your cab which is simple and cheap.
