Massive Longshot shader help, does anyone know the answer?

Hi guys as the title says its a massive longshot but im using a shader called caligari-scanlines.shader in my neoraine setup but want to run my games at 640 x 480 which makes the shader display unevenly. Basically the lines become too big and not uniform. When run at 1024 x 768 it displays perfectly. Is there anyway to modify the shader to display correctly at 640 x 480. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like you will have to edit the shader to work on a different resolution.  Can you post the shader file?

Is NeoRaine run through RocketLauncher? If so and you are up to date maybe try out the shader option under the bezel tab. If you don't want a bezel the just set "Fullscreen Bezel" to true.

 

I'll have a look at that shader as well.

No matey not run though rocket launcher this is outside of hyperspin before adding it. I've just got a candy cab and will be running stuff at 640 x 480 so would like to find how to sort this. At 1024 x 768 on my current crt it looks perfect but that's not an option on the new cab.

Well I could see the problem and I think I've managed to even the scanlines out.

 

Try this config file but back yours first.

 

You will have to change all the directories in the config, perhaps paste then across from your original.

Thanks buddy, I was gagging for a cold can of Special Brew.

 

Luckily it wasn't the shader code that was the problem just some fine turning of the emulator, see settings below.

I did force the full screen res to 640x480 in the config.

Cheers mate, I remember downing 2 of them back when I was 15 and was trolleyed within 3 minutes lmao good times. Thanks for your help mate hopefully it can help others out in the future.
