ANFERNY Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Hi guys, Wanting some help please... I have a couple of systems that don't show default emulators, eg. Nintendo game and watch, how can I add a default emulator to a specific system? Any help would be much appreciated.
gigapig Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 First off make sure you have named the system correctly, so using your example it would be Nintendo Game & Watch. You will find the correct naming if you look in the icons folder here :\RocketLauncher\RocketLauncherUI\Media\Icons. If the emulator still does not show then you can uncheck the "Valid Emulators/Modules Only" box under Global and the RocketlauncherUI tab. Then you should see the full list of emulators.
ANFERNY Posted June 20, 2016 Author Posted June 20, 2016 Thanks gigapig, your help was much appreciated. I used a bad example, was actually for Locomalito Games which did not have an icon in \RocketLauncher\RocketLauncherUI\Media\Icons. All good now, unchecked "Valid Emulators/Modules Only" box.
gigapig Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Glad you have it working. I'm guess Locomolito games you the PCLauncher module? If so the reason they are possibly not showing is because they are not in the module. A simple fix for that is to add the system yourself by. Open the module in Notepad++ Look near the top and you will see MSystem = followed by the list of systems. You then just add you missing system and save. So MSystem = "American Laser Games","Arcade PC","Doujin Soft","Examu eX-BOARD","Fan Remakes","Games for Windows","Konami e-Amusement","Konami Bemani","Locomalito Games","Microsoft Windows","PCLauncher","PC Games","Singstar","Steam","Steam Big Picture","Taito Type X","Taito Type X2","Touhou","Touhou Project","Ultrastar","Ultrastar Deluxe","Windows Games"
Metalzoic Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 If the emulator still does not show then you can uncheck the "Valid Emulators/Modules Only" box under Global and the RocketlauncherUI tab. Then you should see the full list of emulators. Interesting I didn't know about that. I've always just manually added my custom systems into the settings manually.
ANFERNY Posted June 21, 2016 Author Posted June 21, 2016 Thanks again gigapig. It is easier to add it in the module, saves me from going back and forth checking the "Valid Emulators/Modules Only" box.
