Hi, in the HyperSpin Downloads i have seen downloads for MAME that say Hi-Score in the Title, Does this mean it keeps Hi-Score, If not how would I keep Hi Score for MAME? Thanks. :thanks:

Agent doesn't HI Score still only work with a handful of games though. It was very few when I tried it.

I did notice recently that Blazing Star on Neo Geo saves all my scores and initials in-game.

I wonder how many games it works with now.

It's a lot more than you would think... almost all of the mainstream games, I think.

I still use the hi-score patched version for hi-score saving.  Are the hiscore.dat and "hi" directory still required for the hi-score lua script?  Or does it store hi-scores in the ini files?  I never checked, and I keep all of my .ini files locked to prevent mame versioning from wiping them out.

The hi directory is required but the dat isn't. I verified myself a couple of days ago using mameuifx 0.175.
