Dons HyperList creater help needed

Hey guys

 

i need some help with Dons hyperlist creater

 

i am trying to create a XML from DAT and am using the progetto snaps MAME dat 175

 

i add the dat and fill in the blanks and click create yet the xml produced is empty every time

 

i cant understand why

 

any help would be great

 

im using the newest versions of dons tools 4.3.25

Why not just use the official ones here?

 

1. I dint know about them but looks like they might just be what i want (as long as Parent Clone is same as official MAME layout)

most are not

2. i dont like the ones in the downlaods section

3. is always nice to make your own or atleast know how to make your own

if you are crearting a blank list you have not added any files to the output list.

Select the games you want on the output list then right click and press add to output.

Then press the button at the bottom which says create output list or something like that.

 

But as Agent 47 says why not just use the official ones?

i'm creating from a DAT file, its not pulling the games list from the DAT

I am trying to create an xml from a progettosnaps 0.139u1 dat file?

 

All i get is the header for the new hyperlist xml?

 

Need the old version for Android use. Is the only way to create from my roms directory or is there another tool. Im looking to create an xml with as much info as possible, genre, manufacture etc...  from DAT files
