How could I edit them so that wheel appears on top?

The title should say "theme..." just call me butter fingers.

Hi all,

I haven't been crazy about the default themes available in 16x9 for console systems, and so I've decided to try modifying some of the main menu themes for system level use.

There's one thing that's driving me crazy, though, and that's that most of the main menu themes have objects on the right side of the screen and they appear on top of the transparent wheel. When scrolling through a system without a lot of available game themes (NES or Genesis for example), the wheel is obscured because of this. Is there a setting I could change to modify this? Or something in the theme xml?

Thanks!

the wheel has a fixed position in the layer structure of hyperspin as far as i know. you got your background, then the wheel, and on top of that all the artwork. i think you can change a settings that allows you to play the video behind the wheel tho. but not the artwork 1,2,3 and 4 slots.

one thing you can to, is to do all the animation in adobe flash itself and use the final swf as a background. that way all your animation would play behind the wheel

That makes sense, thanks. I'll see what I can do. The images covering the wheel are static, so if what you said is true I could just merge that layer with the background.
