Any easy way to set up X-arcade controls with all games

I'm pretty noobie to all this emu stuff. I remember messing around with it like 15ish years ago on a computer. Thought it was kinda cool. Now I want to build a actual cab. Got all the parts software etc. Even buying a graphics card to simulate some Nice HLSL scans. Night and Day IMO. Been playing MK.rom on my Xarcade tank pad and it's pretty legit. Really happy with it. I was wondering if their was a way to add a file somewhere that would add all the settings to all the games via xarcade. Or do I have to manually set that up for every game. When I do set it up in mame with Mortal Kombat and quite out, I have to re-set the controls when I come back. What am i doing wrong? Does any of the hyper apps help with this?

Thanks in advance.

edit... Okay I was wrong about the changes not saving :P, but a batch import for the xarcade pads would be sweet for all game controls via mame.

Dude set the controls globally for each emulator, then only change a game controls if needed.

Hi Sandman, just a quickie...all emus have their own keys for direction and actions. How would a global ahk cope with that? Would I edit each emu key config first then create one global ahk?

I'm sorry, I stated that wrong. I meant just setup up the keys in the emulator, in turn that will make all games for that emulator use those key bindings. The adjust a individual game if need be. That's what I meant about globally. Should of made that more clear.

It is because Hyperspin exit is killing Mame before Mame can exit cleanly and therefore save settings. As a user of the x-arcade sticks - I would HIGHLY recommend setting custom buttons with the X-Arcade and avoid using ctrl, alt, space, etc.... Then as Sandman said use the same control scheme (if possible) with every emulator. Then in special cased like PC Games, you can use AHK to map those games.
