Edited hlsl settings - gameplay stuttering/lag

Hey guys

I followed directions and edited "settings of death)

On here for hlsl (mame Ini) everything was done correctly and the screen looks rad.

But now I have a lot of audio stuttering in gameplay and performance lag... Is it because of the settings going harder on the cpu? Is there a way to revert if this is because of that??

Well it was def the settings

Is there any way around it, I turned it off inside the Ini file back to 0.

I'm guessing a slightly more powerful cpu?

Damn tho the screen looked awesome.

I'm using mame uifx 170 for reference

You could also try GLSL which may be less demanding or mess w.ith the "core performance" options.

It's an Intel core duo cpu e8400 @ 3.00 GHz

When I run it with it back on I immediately jump to 75-90% CPU , with hyper soon being the only thing running.

I believe 4 gigs ram.

Utilization is pretty much at 90-100%

Rocket launcher is basically taking up 35% and mame taking up 28-35%

I thought I was pretty over the specs needed for hyper spin over the years it's been no issue

I thought it was a ram issue, so I'm at 7 gigs ram, Intel core duo 3ghz.

I set hlsl to on in the Ini, loaded hyper spin and opened task manager , and now I'm only taxing it at 25%, but the gameplay is still stuttering, the audio is stuttering.

There must be a box somewhere that's not ticked or is ticked. I'll keep trying to google and read on here what I can.
