COMMANDERDAILY Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 I have searched high and low and spent three days inspecting every ini file to try and figure out what I have going on here. Decided to redo a cabinet of mine and downloaded a setup from the platinum section. Looks like I am using RocketLauncher v1.0.1.7. I cannot figure how to get guides, manuals and controls to show up in the hyperpause area. I need assistance and thank you ahead of time.
progets Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 You need to put the artwork/manuals/guides in the /RocketLauncher/Media/ folders. You can read the info for each category here http://www.rlauncher.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page
kylecp1979 Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 You need to enable pause to ture Then you just need to put your files in the right path and name them to the game name in the database. All your guides go in the \RocketLauncher\Media\Guides if you want a default guide for everything you make a _Default folder and put your guide in there. If you want a guide to show up for a game you have to name it to the game in the database. \RocketLauncher\Media\Guides\Nintendo Entertainment System\Legend of Zelda, The (USA) Manuals are the same way but they go in the \RocketLauncher\Media\Manuals Controls are the same way too but they go in the \RocketLauncher\Media\Controller
COMMANDERDAILY Posted September 21, 2016 Author Posted September 21, 2016 First off I want to say thanks to both of you for the assist. When I first read your replies I was confused and then realized I sent a picture showing general options set to false. I actually had it set to true and Artwork, Settings and a couple of others Labels show up during Pause but no Manuals, Guides, or Move labels. I'm going to get back into it tonight with a fresh set of eyes and try to figure it out but I believe all files are exactly where you instructed me to put them. I started looking at .ini files to see if anything looked goofy but all seems to match up with the GUI. Older HS setup in my Marvel cabinet has all of this working correct but a lot has changed in four years. Once I have verified everything again I will post results. Thanks again.
COMMANDERDAILY Posted September 21, 2016 Author Posted September 21, 2016 As long as I have been doing this stuff I can't believe I missed this but overlooked the fact that the new manuals I downloaded needed to be renamed to manual. Thanks again for the responses!
kylecp1979 Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 No problem. Glad you got it figured out.
shitoken Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Sorry guys but where can we get these guides and manuals for these systems we have? I have thought of this.
