Games not showing up in Don's Hyperspin List Generator

Help, I am trying to get my NES roms all set up on Hyperspin. The games play just fine through Hyperspin. The problem is that when I run the List Generator, the games I have in the roms folder are not listed. When I a system audit on HyperHQ, the games show up. Any ideas?

Try filling out the info in HyperHQ and see if that helps. From what I understand Don's List filter/Generator uses the info from HyperHq and not HyperLaunchHQ, this is true for the roms only filter in HyperHQ as well. If you want to make sense of this, HyperLaunch is a separate entity from HyperSpin and anything developed for HyperSpin is not necessarily developed for HyperLaunch. Both HyperSpin and HyperLaunch can work without each other, but there is no denying that they work better together.

Im having a similar issue. I have rom paths set in HyperHQ, I've tried both relative paths, as well as an absolute path. Media is picked up no problem, but not roms.

Any ideas?

You need rom, exe and extension set in HyperHQ.

They were already set, still no go.

I would still like to fix this, but for anyone having a similar issue; for now Im using the Rom Renamer tool to generate an effective list of missing ROMs.

I personally use a combination of scripts and tools to do my renaming but most of the time I get lazy and just download a matching set.

Yeah, i hear ya. It would be nice to use this one integrated tool, but im not going to get too hung up on it.
