Deemar Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 I see lots of threads about the Raspberry Pi 2 but can't get a definitive answer on the 3. Is it X86 now? Will Hyperspin run on ARM architecture? I see the Intel Compute Stick will run it perfectly but it's double the price.
griffin518 Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 Hyperspin only runs on Windows. My understanding is that only IoT Windows is available for RPi, so the answer is no. Deemar Posted November 30, 2016 Author Posted November 30, 2016 Ah, looks like I can just use the Lenovo Ideacentre computer as it's just a little more expensive than a Raspberry Pi 3 kit.
32assassin Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 Have you heard of Attract Mode? essentially its another Hyperspin Clone, that uses emumoves and hyperspin artwork NO themes, but the artwork from the themes have been converted to Attract Mode format. someone ported it to the Raspberry,
dougan78 Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 Hyperspin should be doable now though. Rpi3 can run android tv so then you should be able to do hyperspin no? Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
Deemar Posted November 30, 2016 Author Posted November 30, 2016 Now that you mention Android TV, it looks like I can install Hyperspin on my Nvidia Shield television box. Amazing!
32assassin Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 Raspberry Pi is Linux based, Hyperspin was ported to Android. I would assume you would need to do something similar for Linux. this is a very popular request and the answer has always been NO.
