Hello,

A friend gave me a few guitar hero & RB guitar controllers most for xbox360 wireless and wired.

It's funny on my windows 8.1 laptop I can sync them up in a few seconds but my arcade which runs windows 7 ultimate 64bit won't sync.  Even with oem Guitar hero usb XBOx360 receiver and wireless Xbox360 drivers for windows 7...

Going to try the actual front panel receiver off a RRofD Xbox360 to see if it will work....

Anyone have any luck?

Guess if nothing works, could wire in a wired PC gamepad inside the GH controller....

BTW, seems to be a file or files related to XUSB22.sys and XUSB21.sys (and .cfg), XUSB22 being the driver that works (I think)?

I used the guitar hero and Rockband controllers fine. I just had to do special controller configs for those games. I threw my guitars away but I know it works for ps2. I had wireless too. Good luck.

Wired and wireless worked for me on XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 10 with xbox360 receiver. Is the receiver showing up properly in windows device manager on that system? Drivers registered properly? Win8 and 10 are a little better than 7 about downloading updates for peripherals and 3rd party apps, but maybe run Windows Update after plugging it in. There is also a driver install pack for Win7x64 for the receiver.
