mankin Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 Hi: I have a few systems setup without any boxart appearing in the wheel. The boxart exists in the hyperspin media folder under system (i.e. PC Engine) in the images folder in folder Artwork 4 as PNG files and the names match the database, the Themes folder xml looks like this for PC Engine: <Theme> <video w="432" h="324" x="302" y="463" r="0" below="no" forceaspect="both" time="1" delay="0" bsize="0" bsize2="0" bsize3="0" bcolor="0" bcolor2="0" bcolor3="0" bshape="round" type="ease" start="left"/> <artwork2 x="299" y="680" time="1" delay ="0.5" type="none" start="none" rest="none"/> <artwork3 x="342" y="134" time="1" delay ="0.5" type="none" start="none" rest="none"/> <artwork4 x="751" y="493" r="4" time="1" delay ="0" type="ease" start="bottom" rest="none"/> </Theme>
Yeuxkes Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 Is there an artwork4.png in the default.zip? If there is you cannot display any art found in the artwork 4 folder. The theme will prioritize the files in the zipfile first. If that isn't the case then you need to make sure you have identical capitalization for the png files.
mankin Posted January 31, 2017 Author Posted January 31, 2017 Thanks for the reply Yeuxkes, no there is no Artwork4.png in the the default zip only Artwork2.png and Artwork3.png. Yes the png file names match the rom names is capitalization.
mankin Posted February 1, 2017 Author Posted February 1, 2017 Figured it out. The PNG images were in the wrong artwork folder apparently it should have been in Artwork 3 folder and not Artwork 4 folder.
