KennethRyan Posted March 10, 2017 Share Posted March 10, 2017 This button I have my finger on is not customizable in the MAME tab menu. It exits the game which makes it nearly impossible to finish a game because player 2 eventually hits it. I'm fairly new to joytokey and hyperspin. It registers as "button 3" on joytokey. Spawk Posted March 10, 2017 Share Posted March 10, 2017 He's right, I don't think you need JTK at all. Your buttons should already be registering as keystrokes. No? If your control panel is for some reason recognized as a "joystick" windows then check out my JTK tutorial for how to integrate it properly with RL. Then launch mame and hit tab on your keyboard config keys press delete to remove any old data for that key when done test. Then hit tab exit game. joseph2626 Posted May 22, 2017 Share Posted May 22, 2017 your configration is wrong from my view . in Mame it reads like that : player 1 buttton 0 in your case is button 1 player 1 button 1 in your case is button 2 player 1 button 2 in your case is button 3 and so on so as i can see in your case you configered 2 as escape button so mame reads it as button 3 and it should be Esc button on your keyboard. thats why it escapes delet player 1 and player 2 joystick configration from HQ in mame just hit TAB button on keybord to simply configer any machine in other systems use joy to key generally Esc button is to exit in all programs so leave it as exit button. hop i helpd.
