Dilated18 Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 Wondering how u guys go about using mame or mess for console systems? Mame names dont match the hyperlist databases so how would i match any of the boxart, wheels without renaming everything?

thatman84 Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 I did start to convert some for use with Android but ended up finding a way round the problem of being forced to use software list. I put a few system up on the emumovies ftp. Matched out to Phulshoffs xmls. Look for my name on the EM ftp in submissions. Mame will except "any" name you throw at it so long as its passed to it with the command line. Example I have Atari 5200 roms named as per the hyperspin xml names and in .bin format.
