What took me so long to use Alternative emulators?

I knew the option was there and I've heard people speak of it but I was a bit confused by the process and didn't even give it a shot... I also thought it would require me to move/copy my roms like I had to move or copy my media files.. which was another reason I never bothered but I didn't realize that all it would require me to do was to add the rom paths in RL.

I just merged the xmls I wanted (PC games, Mame, NES, SNES, N64, PS1, PSP, Sega Model 2, Sammy Atomiswave, Genesis) and basically used my favorites.txt for each system as a guide so when I add the games under alternative emulators all I have to do is search for the games and add them... to make it less painful I copied over the media files prior to adding the games in RL.

I plan on doing another wheel for all the early 80s systems (Colecovision, A2600, 5200, etc)

All this time I've been saying I wish there was a global favorites for multiple systems and all I had to do was use the alternative emulators... I thought the process was going to be hard but the biggest pain is probably copying over my wheels, videos, and themes..

What the hell? Why do I have a content creator thingy under my name? And why does my profile say I logged in and pinned myself on a map 2 hours ago when I haven't been on here in days and wasn't anywhere near there earlier today? This place is haunted and i blame Giga... although I suspect it was actually Avar.

Can't explain the pin but yeah I handed out a bunch of Content Creator promotions today. I just went through and downloaded/sorted the entire Upload Here section for the audiit and there were a good chunk o ppl who'd contributed their fair shake but hadn't been promoted yet..

I have been using alternative emulators for collection packs which have games from different systems/emulators .

Specially for Sega Triforce is a must to use because each game run in different version of dolphin.

I find it very useful LOI
