Adobe to retire Flash in 2020, what does this mean for HS?

Following the news from Adobe earlier this week:
https://blogs.adobe.com/conversations/2017/07/adobe-flash-update.html

It’s concerning since Flash is what powers HyperSpin, but also not that surprising since it’s riddled with security exploits on the web.
This news *really* does put the nail-in-the-coffin for HS as it exists today. Sure, we can continue to see updates for a short while, but for how long?

Will we ever see HS switch platforms?

How does the community feel about this?

Well I heard that Russian porn sites are going to be updating Flash indefinitely; just hit "OK" when that popup comes up (no not that popup). We'll all be good here, so you won't need those nails yet.

I was wondering the same thing. I was kind of hoping with the talk of development ramping up that we'd see a shift away from flash.
