SkyHighGam3r Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 I just couldn't stand Sonic Mania not having a proper Sega console to call home... so I set up a whole new one and fleshed it out with some other games. While not 'technically' emulated. The PCLauncher module from RocketLauncher boots these all up just the same.
sparton Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 but, what is a geom? I'm not sure making up a 'home' is better than no home at all, what about a Sonic wheel?

Well to be perfectly honest, I just love playing with Hyperspin and trying to do things that showcase it's versatility. 90% of the builds I see use the default themes with unaltered game-lists, and cap out at PS2 with PC gaming being the only representative of modern systems. I've already got working wheels for XBOX, X360, X1, PS3, PS4, PSVita, & Switch... so I decided it might be cool to add what I envisioned a modern Sega system to look like. "Geom" is short for "Geometric" if you notice the font used is a hexegon, and the logo is a dodecahedron. Sadly the hexegon doesn't have a regular 3D solid, which would have made everything a 6, which plays off the idea that 6-buttons is superior in every way-shape-form in gaming. ;P A Sonic wheel would be neat, and if I ever get something like main menu changer going, might be something i'd try... but for right now where everything I have is broken down into consoles, it just wouldn't have fit. However, the Sega one fits perfectly next to these others (that's also why I chose orange) Though I'm not happy with the image I put on there for the system art, I didn't have any other ideas lol
sparton Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 Well I really like it, kinda reminds me of a football, but it's a good Sega concept. I can see you have created your own art, really nice and yea it's fun to make themes, I've altered a lot on my setup but I do try and keep it all uniform and as close to replicated as possible, so I spend a lot of time replacing art sets with other art sets I notice you don't use any A/B, X/Y buttons on your art, and thought you might be able to use these?https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3Bv5lO_Zvm_aDd4cHRac0daQ3M/view?usp=sharing
