What are the best timing you guys using for Fade?

Whenever I exit the game I am getting desktop flash screen for few seconds.

How to prevent it?

For me, it depends on the system being loaded. I usually go with the defaults unless there is a problem, then I adjust just that system. 

I usually count seconds for the difference between fade and actual game load, then add to fade time "Exit Delay" (1000 units per second-I think). Reload system and adjust if necessary.

If there is still a problem, I read the module notes and see if there is a specific problem/solution (for ex.- full-screen vs full-screen windowed setting) for that system. Some emulators break fade. Most have solutions, a couple do not.

Let me try count the sec  and readjust timing.

But  I tried like from  500 , 1000 and even 5000 but still seeing the desktop screen after exiting the game before going back to FE.

Just checked my exit settings. All are default. Probably can't help you, but have you looked at the hide settings for the Main Settings- Desktop section? I've heard of mixed results/issues, so you may want to make any changes sparingly and per system only. Don't want to break something else.

What system are you having trouble with, BTW?

MAME is one of them having problem dekstop flash problems.

I have turned on all the hide settings in global settings. But hide settings seems useless example the taskbar always exist in bottom never complete hide, mean is like we set autohide it will go down but still can see the shade of minimized programs or by chance move the mouse down the task bar will come up

Whenever I run Mameuifx games from the HS wheel the game will run just fine . But I can see the emulator down the taskbar because of this my taskbar cannot hide and I can minimize or maximize by mouse . If I run other systems taskbar and emulator can hide completely .

This only happening game launching thru HS Wheel.

I have checked if I turn on MAME BEZEL in RL  , my hyperspin will not hide the task bar , if turn back false than hyperspin does not have this problem. Does anyone have idea?

 

Other system bezels does not have this problem

I was having the same issue as yourself. I opted to kill the process explorer.exe before starting HS and starting it again after I quit HS.

This can easily be done with a batch file and setting it in HyperHQ.

Add the following into a batch file you want to run before HS taskkill /f /fi "IMAGENAME eq explorer.exe"  and add start c:\windows\explorer.exe to a batch when you quit HS.

I think this is best option for Hyperspin and will solve the flash screen issue too.

What strange is only MAME BEZELS giving this problem no other sytems have this issue.
