noob question

Hi guys

 

I hope this is ok to ask. I can take down if it is an issue 

my buddy is letting me copy his 5tb hd that is fully loaded with Hyper spin / Rocket Launcher. He currently has it running on his stand up arcade cabinet with arcade joysticks. 

I on the other hand will be using a Xbox controller. When I copy his stuff onto my hard drive what do I need to do to set up for an xbox controller?

It depends how he has configured it and what emulators he has used. If everything is through retroarch then its just plug and play. If on the other hand its separate emulators you will need to remap them. Its fairly straight forward though.
