Axl398 Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 Hello there! Everytime I want to play a game, as soon as I press enter, that message pops up. The last two things I did was conect an xbox pc controller and make a folder for MAME and the SNES in the RocketLauncher Databases folder with their respective XML files. There is also a -10 folder in my RocketLauncher folder and I can't remember if it was there before but I think not. Any wisdom you can share on the subject is greatly appreciated.
gigapig Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 Why are you putting XML files in your Rocket launcher install? I'm pretty much sure I've never seen a -10 folder.
xtnxviclaster Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 This was my issue too. I had to basically start over in another hard drive to get Rocketlauncher to even startup anymore.
Axl398 Posted December 6, 2017 Author Posted December 6, 2017 @gigapig I used to make XML files that only listed the games that I had but I had to make a new one everytime I added new games to my library. So I deleted the XML files I created, downloaded the original XML files from hyperlist again and went to HyperHQ to check the "Roms Only" box for all the wheels. After that, every time I pressed enter to play a game I got message that said that it couldnt find the game in my RocketLauncher Databases folder, so I made folders for MAME and SNES there and put their respective XML files in them. It worked fine for a while. Afterwards I plugged the pc controller and the first time there was no problem but the second time I tried to play the "-10" error popped up. That's the whole story. I hope it helps point out the problem.
Axl398 Posted December 7, 2017 Author Posted December 7, 2017 *FIX* I found the problem, I think... My default frontend path was set to RocketLauncherUI instead of HyperSpin. But now that raises another question. I did the set up for HyperSpin and RocketLauncher correctly, I tripled checked everything, and I haven't been to the global general settings tab since the installation, so I don't know how the default front end path changed back to RocketLauncherUI after I finished installing everything.
