LKrebs Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 Hi everyone. As far as I can tell, the HS-frontend is supposed to have a built in background music function. I've been trying to set it up by putting mp3-files into the background music folders (of the main menu and of the specific systems). No luck getting it to play. I've searched the forums and found a few somewhat buggy and very complicated solutions. Have anyone gotten the built-in background music function to work properly? The changelog of v1.4 states that the function is fixed.
Bungles Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 I have it working for a few themes, You need to make sure the naming convention is the same for each item like any other and the files are in the correct location. The PS2 Menu sounds is the MP3. I have used the same method for only a few others as most have pretty fitting audio in the video previews. Bungles Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Don't mind the special Art, my testing setup is a mess at the moment. Also not sure why the wheel fades in the theme.. might be my end or a transition effect perhaps in the theme? Seems to happen when the overlay comes in with the strobe effect? Kondorito Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 Guys, sorry to revive this thread, just wanted to check if there is a way to have a Main Menu Background Music running nonstop until the user enters a specific wheel (without stopping/changing when cycling through the main menu wheels).
