deathring2000 Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 Hi there. I'm quite the decent graphic designer. And as such i wanna make my own special artwork for my hyperspin But for the life of me i can't find any way or guide to make them with current software any help is appreciated
RLBradders26 Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 They are swf files made in flash. Download and install that then reverse engineer one of the current files.
Bungles Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 If you don't want animation within the artwork files you can just create them as still images and run them through a conversion script. These script use Adobe Flash Professional so you will need that. Hyperspin also has in-built transitional effects between the files so you can fade them in/out etc. Retro Cafe - Universal ThemeHyperControl - Main Menu Config and Apps WheelAudiocade - Main Menu Music PlayerTelltale Games WheelPCGamers Top 100 PC Games 2014 WheelMGS HD Exit Screen8-Bitdo Special ArtAll Contributions My Youtube Channel - https://www.youtube.com/user/3ungle
deathring2000 Posted March 21, 2018 Author Posted March 21, 2018 Thanks. I started making them in Adobe Animate now. Have animation in it and got it looking all nice and slick and vectored as far as possible it now fades from an arcade layout to a button layout
RLBradders26 Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 Your main menu wheels are spot on! Special art looks good as well although im not a fan of the Hyperspin bar but thats just personal preference. Good work
deathring2000 Posted March 21, 2018 Author Posted March 21, 2018 Do you mean the word hyperspin in it? Open to suggestions and feedback
RLBradders26 Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 In my special art i only have the buttons and not the black bar at the bottom (see attached), just looks a bit cleaner. In a lot of builds ive seen i would say more people prefer it the way you have done it though. Have you done the buttons and bar as seperate files?
deathring2000 Posted March 21, 2018 Author Posted March 21, 2018 hmmm that does seem a bit more minimalistic. and i do have to admit i like the glossy style of the buttons. might redesign mine in illustrator now
