Hyperspin loses focus when exit emulator

I know this is an old thread, but I'm having this problem too and it's driving me mad!   Will try the startup script solution....

Just a thought though...

if hyperspin comes into focus with a left mouse click,  would this work- (I'm using an iPac)

connect the left mouse button to say down on player 1 joystick?  That way if hyperspin looses focus at any time, normally moving the joystick does nothing but if if the "down" is also "left mouse" as well would this work? 

Left mouse isn't mapped to anything as far as I know...  or is it?  Not sure. I use 2 aim tracks, a spinner and a trackball but as far as I know left or right mouse buttons don't do anything.  

Just a thought...

Did the startup option work permanently?
